I’m looking into shipping my car overseas from Canada and quickly realized — there’s a lot more to it than just loading it into a container and waving goodbye. From paperwork to prepping the vehicle, there seem to be many rules, and I’d really like to get a better handle on how to do it right.

I’m especially interested in understanding what I need to do on my end — do I need to remove certain parts, empty the tank, provide specific documents, etc.?
